Info about song

"There She Goes" is a 1988 song by English rock band The La's. Written by the band's frontman, Lee Mavers, the song features on their 1990 eponymous debut album. First released as a single in 1988, the song reached number 13 on the UK Singles Chart when it was re-issued in 1990. In May 2007 NME magazine placed the song at number 45 in its list of the 50 Greatest Indie Anthems Ever. This song has been covered by several bands and two versions can be found (the La's and one by Boo Radleys) on the soundtrack to the movie "So I married an Axe Murderer" According to the There She Goes Songfacts, the common knowledge that this song is about heroin seems to be a sure bet. "Racing through my brain" and "Pulsing through my vein" exclude just about everything else, and newspapers in England ran stories about The La's "ode to heroin." La's bassist John Power gave a rather evasive answer when asked about it, while La's ex-guitarist Paul Hemmings flatly denied it. Read more on Last.fm.
