"Keep Fishin'" is a song by the American alternative rock band Weezer. It is the second single from the band's fourth album, Maladroit. It peaked at #15 on the US alternative charts. The song reached #24 on the Triple J Hottest 100 in 2002. During some live shows in 2005, Weezer guitarist Brian Bell took lead vocals on "Keep Fishin'." The music video, directed by Marcos Siega, features Weezer as guests on The Muppet Show (with drummer Patrick Wilson being held captive by Miss Piggy at the beginning). As noted in the Weezer Video Capture Device DVD, it marks the acting debut for the band members in a music video. At one point, Kevin Smith was attached to direct the video for this song, but without the Muppets. Read more on Last.fm.
