"Ramblin' Boy" is a song written and recorded by American folksinger and songwriter Tom Paxton. It appears on Paxton's first studio album of the same name released in 1964. Paxton performed the song at the 1963 Newport Folk Festival. The first recorded release was in 1963 by American folk music quartet The Weavers (Paxton had played the song to Pete Seeger) as Paxton's recording at the 1963 Newport Folk Festival was not released until 1964.
