Info about song

"Lady Jane" is a song by The Rolling Stones that featured on their 1966 album Aftermath. It delivers an Elizabethan atmosphere with its lyrics and haunting instrumentation showcasing Brian Jones on dulcimer, and was rumored at one point to be about the wives of Henry VIII. It was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and is considered by many fans to be one of the highlights from the Aftermath album, and one of their best tunes. It is one of many of the Rolling Stones' early (Brian Jones-era) hits that have not been played live since his death. On Neil Young's 1975 album Tonight's The Night the tune from Lady Jane is "borrowed" for the song entitled "Borrowed Tune". Read more on Last.fm.
