"Legend of a Mind" is a song by the British progressive rock band The Moody Blues written by the band's flautist Ray Thomas who provides the lead vocals. Recorded in 1968, the subject of this song is Timothy Leary, the pop culture icon of the late 1960s who advocated the use of LSD and psychedelic drugs. He coined the phrase, "Turn on, tune in, and drop out." He was an adjunct professor of psychology at Harvard University during that time.
