Alcohol is the 8th track on The Holloways' 2nd album: No Smoke, No Mirrors. The Album was released on October 5th, 2009. Alcohol is a catchy tune with a sound similar to pop-songs. As the title suggests, this song is mainly about the consumption of alcohol. According to a review by Jack Foley, the song Alcohol is: "... an ode to the pleasures and perils of a Saturday night excess that’s, well, the equivalent of emerging from a hangover slumber after popping some neurofen!" NME-reviewer Ben Patashnick was a little less positive about No Smoke, No Mirrors. In his review he mentions that Alcohol is driving him mad.
