Funky Fanfare chords by Keith Mansfield

"Funky Fanfare" is familiar to cult movie fans for its appearance in an "Astro Dater" snipe played by 1970s drive-in movie theaters before a feature presentation. That promo was revived by the company Grindhouse Releasing in 1996 for their home video releases (a still frame also serves as the company's logo). Quentin Tarantino also placed it before the credits of his exploitation opus Kill Bill. DangerDoom sampled the track for their 2006 single with Talib Kweli, "Old School". Additionally, "Funky Fanfare" served as the theme song for the Animal Planet TV show Pit Boss in 2010. Read more on Last.fm.
