Speaking with Songfacts about this song in an interview, keyboard player Bobby Whitlock who played on Wah-Wah, said the "O'Hara-Smith Singers" were he and Clapton. WAH WAH was the first song George Harrison perfomed at his August 1, 1971 CONCERT FOR BANGLADESH, at Madison Square Garden, NYC. This is my favorite recording from the concert..
