After Fogelberg moved to Colorado, recording he started there eventually became the core of the 1977 Epic Release "Netherlands." The music for this album generated from several locations, and each region's influences can be heard in the inspired material on this project. According to the album notes, the songs evolved through the Caribou Ranch, Nederland, Colorado; The Record Plant, Los Angeles and Sausalito; Quadraphonic Sound Studios, Nashville; North Star Studio, Boulder, Colorado. Norbert Putnam, famed Nashville session bassist, co-produced the album, and Don Henley supplies harmony vocals. Fogelberg plays acoustic 12-string guitars, Leslie guitar, electric lead guitars, and, of course, supplies lead and many background vocals. Read more on Last.fm.
