XC-NN were an intelligent garage band; purposefully unsettling, beautifully brash, profoundly contemporary and born to strut. They released three top 10 indie chart singles "Young Stupid and White", the "Copyright E.P." and "Thousand Easy" before releasing their self-titled album in 1994.
A second album "Lifted", produced by Mike Clink, was released in 1995. The group disbanded in 1996. Dave Tomlinson and Tim Bricheno went on to form Tin Star (1997-2001) and their current band: JOK. Nick Witherick retired from the music industry to become an experienced CELTA/DELTA trainer and GESE examiner in London. Though he still plays the bass, guitar and piano in his spare time.
