Formed in 1991 by Marcello Milani and Grant MacMillan, the band lineup changed some over the years, though Robert Pound was the long term bassist. The Toothfaeries have played a number of reunion gigs at the now legendary Brisbane venue, The Zoo (where they first rose to prominence) and can sometimes be spotted doing impromptu, spontaneous gigs at the Chai Tent venue at the annual Woodford Folk Festival.
