Bob Stanley left the band, he was drafted during the Vietnam War. He was replaced by Bill Doyle. As time went by, The Rockin' Continentals performed regularly on cruise ships. In later years, The Rockin' Continentals became a country band and changed their name to The Good Time Trio. Stanley returned to the band while they were known as The Good Time Trio.
