The Germans is a Belgian band consisting of brothers Lennert and Timothy Jacobs (drums & bass), singer Jakob Ampe and lead guitarist Vincent Cauwels. Influenced by other Beligan bands such as Evil Superstars and Millionaire, but also by krautrock and American bands such as Pixies and Pavement, they bring melodic rock songs with an experimental edge. The debut album "Elf Shot Lame Witch" has been released in March 2008. It has been mixed by Boris Wilsdorf, sound engineer of the legendary German band Einstürzende Neubauten.
