Symarip, formerly the Pyramids and Seven Letters, were a ska and reggae band from the United Kingdom, originating towards the end of the 1960s and into the early 1970s. Before that the last album of The Pyramids was 'Drunk and Disorderly' which was released in 1985 (Ariola, 1985). The album was produced by Stevie B. Same year the band quit. Michael Thomas, the bassist of Symarip lives now in Finland. He is making reggae music with his band 'Saganor'. Lead singer Roy Ellis recently performs and records as Mr. Symarip.
