Sewing With Nancie is a three piece, aggressive, melodic punk band from Windsor, Ontario, Canada. They has been together since April 1996. Sewing With Nancie is a three piece, aggressive, melodic punk band from Windsor, Ontario, Canada. They has been together since April 1996. SWN has played all over Southern Ontario, and continues to expand their touring base. Shared the stage with SNFU, Treble Charger, The Gandharvas and others. SWN sings songs about teenage stuff, like girls, cars, and crappy Starbucks coffee. People have been known to sing along and mosh in unison to most SWN songs. SWN is also known for covering songs from our favourite female popstars from the 80's....Favourites such as "Total eclipse of the heart", 'Like a prayer" and "Time after time" have all appeared on recent SWN releases. Their album "The same three chords" was partly funded through a generous grant from the Canadian government.
