November 2009, Noelie McDonnell is set to release his latest album “Come Alive” which he recorded while on tour in Austin, TX and Toronto, CA. Noelie has continued to gain world-wide attention as one Ireland’s most highly regarded song writers to emerge in recent years. He has been hailed in The New York Post 'As a startlingly good new Irish talent' and in Hot Press as '..The real deal'. In 2008, Noelie McDonnell, won the hearts of new fan's all over the nation with his Irish chart topping single, 'Nearly Four' which also remained at No.1 in the iTunes folk chart for 6 weeks following its release in October. The album 'Beyond hard places' also spent two months in the iTunes Top 10 folk album chart. Over the past four years since the release of his debut self titled album, Noelie has toured all over Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Spain & the UK. He has shared the stage with Luka Bloom, John Martyn & Eddi Reader to name but a few and his festival appearances have stolen the show. Most recently, Noelie has toured the states twice including appearances in the mid-west as an invited guest of Folk legend Greg Brown. He will coincide his latest album release with a nationwide tour in November with dates including Nov 20th in Dublin’s Academy Theatre.
