In 1976, guitarist Jan Akkerman left progressive rock act Focus and teams up again with vocalist Kaz Lux to create a concept-album LP named "Eli", which was released on Atlantic records in the same year. Akkerman and Lux both played in psychedelic blues act Brainbox in the late 60's / early 70's. In 1977, Akkerman and Lux did a tour through England with Kayak in the supporting program.
