Elysium Project is a sound system that combines a melodic mix of electronic styles with classical influences, while drawing upon elements from the realms of rock and anything else that springs to mind. The outcome is a diverse, eclectic sound which has been likened to a union of 'Air meets Satriani meets Prodigy'.
Based in the UK, the outfit was formed in 2004 by musician Andrew Ford (aka Fordsnack) with the aim of crafting music with a slight twist. Over this time, Elysium Project have found and perfected their unique edge. Fordsnack’s metal-influenced guitar lines soar over intelligent, infectious beats. Andrew has worked in collaboration with upcoming talent Arwen Hunt, who provides the soft, melodious vocals on “Solitude” and “Satisfied”. Their music touches the mind and soul, while nevertheless will induce some dancefloor action along the way.
Elysium have established a strong live presence across the South East, particularly in the university town of Guildford, where their energetic and driven performances have shaken up sleepy suburbia. The outfit incorporates live bass from Kim Griffin and drums courtesy of Adam Callaghan, creating a dynamic experience for the music-loving masses.
