While not Vancouver locals, the duo has been tirelessly working for the past 6 months to make it feel like home, and the response has been outstanding. With large crowd turnouts and a young, dedicated fan base, Vancouver is starting to notice the boys tenacity and D.I.Y work ethic.
Keenan draws influence from North Vancouver Island, where he was born and raised. Andrew, alternatively, writes from his experiences traveling and growing up in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, Australia. Together they have developed a sound that stands out from the standard Folk/Americana genre and can be easily recognized by their powerful harmonies and energetic live performance.
Recently releasing their Debut album and boasting a full band, The River and The Road are working hard to cement their name in Vancouver's Folk music scene. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
