3) Shell Shock were one of the first hardcore bands in New Orleans, Louisiana. Formed in 1980. After original vocalist, Greg, left the band in 1988, they got Kirk Windstein (Crowbar, Down, Valume Nob) who also added a 2nd guitar to the band and they picked up a more of a thrash metal sound.
4) Shellshock was formed by 4 people wanting to push the boundaries of digital metal, mixing the dark twisted elements of drum n bass with the heavy, edgy metal style they had in their blood.
