Pool-Pah is translated as either “shit storm” or “wraith of God” and its the soundtrack to a movie that was never released. None of that really prepares you for this record though. It starts off with an otherworldly ARP synth solo; Harsh at first, then smoothing out — Immediately fooling you into thinking this is a heavy prog album. Sorry, no dice. It starts off with an otherworldly ARP synth solo; Harsh at first, then smoothing out — Immediately fooling you into thinking this is a heavy prog album. Sorry, no dice.
