2. NK (formerly North Korea) is a band from Long Island, NY, currently consisting of Ryan Hunter (Quiett Dog, ex-Envy On The Coast), Michael Sadis (ex-The Rivalry), and Billy Rymer (The Dillinger Escape Plan, ex-The Rivalry).
NK was formed under the name North Korea in 2010 by Ryan Hunter, Brian Byrne (ex-Envy On The Coast), Michael Sadis, and Billy Rymer. The band made their first release on April 1, 2011 with Basement Tapes vol 1, and released Basement Tapes vol 2 on February 21st, 2012. They released their debut album, Nothing To Be Gained Here, on May 21st, 2013 shortly after undergoing a name change.
