Long Distance Call Blues, are mostly inspired by traditional Blues forms but there are also Country, Jazz and Rock influences. All of their music is written by Thanassis Papapolitis except the piano parts in their third album "Mississippi Moonlight" (written by Panagiotis Kolliotsis). All lyrics are written by Lefteris Tsakirakis. Thanassis Papapolitis has also released two albums ("Noc U Beogradu" (2004) and "Unreleased Live & Studio Recordings" (2006)) and one single ("Lebanon Lament" (2006)). Lefteris Tsakirakis released an album with Greek songs ("Kati Psila" (2004) and he has taken part at several Greek albums e.g. Spiros Kourkounakis: "Ta meta kai ta prin" (2006) and live performances of famous Greek artists. All of their albums have received very good reviews from the Greek music press. JAZZ & TZAZ magazine has placed them in the first pages of the Book of Blues. Read more on Last.fm.
