Kees Pruis (Cornelis Pruis) (1889-1957) was a Dutch singer and song writer who though less flamboyant and striking than his contemporaries Louis Davids, Lou Bandy and Will Derby is still recognised as an outstanding humorist, singer, actor and comedian. He performed not only in Dutch but also in English and German.
