Josh Healey is a British Singer-songwriter, Born in the Shetland Islands on 27th November, 1992. His family moved to Cheshire when he was a young boy, and he grew up there as well as attending school. In 2012, Josh began recording his Debut EP "Lifeboats & Relationships" at Blueprint Studio's in Manchester, with Producer Fred Kindt of 'The Slow Show'. In 2012, Josh began recording his Debut EP "Lifeboats & Relationships" at Blueprint Studio's in Manchester, with Producer Fred Kindt of 'The Slow Show'. In this same year he began receiving support and radio play from his Local BBC Introducing show in Merseyside, and further support from Tom Robinson via 'Fresh on the Net' and 'BBCR6 Music'.
After attending the BBC Masterclass in 2013, Josh met with fellow Introducing artist Dan Fable. Their Collaboration 'The Girl I used To Know' entered the I-tunes Singer-songwriter singles chart, peaking at number 28. On May 5th of the same year, Josh's EP "Lifeboats & Relationships" officially charted at number 31 on the I-tunes UK top 40 Singer-Songwriter albums chart. The pair later performed their song together live on BBC Introducing in Manchester, with Michelle Hussey and Natalie Eve Williams.
Josh is currently writing and recording his first full length album.
His EP is released in the UK on the 18th March, 2013.
