In spring 2010, more than ready to take over center stage, Jordan Officer is releasing his first solo album, consisting of his own creations with the exception of a superb reprise of the Duke Ellington classic “Sophisticated Lady.” With this disc, titled simply Jordan Officer, he gives free rain to his virtuosity while remaining true to an approach in which the music must always play the leading role.
