Bannlyst was a hardcore punk band from Molde, Norway. They put out one demo tape in 1983, one split tape with Angor Wat and the "La dem ikke lure deg" 7" EP (both in 1984). The 7" was put out by the Oslo based label X-Port Plater run by Gunnar Nuven of Svart Framtid. Bannlyst consisted of Per Arne Haugen (bass), Finn Erik Tangen (vocal), Børre Løvik (guitar) and Thomas Fosseide (drums). Bannlyst played several reunion gigs between 1992 and 1994, the most well-known was at the Blitz squats 10 year anniversary. A discography LP is in the works.
