Biography

He has been playing the electric guitar for twenty years. During this period he was able to attend numerous courses at the "Il Pentagramma" music school in Bari (Italy) under the guidance of teachers Alex Milella (guitar), Guido Di Leone (theory/Jazz harmony) and Paola Arnesano (theory and solfeggio) ). The courses were followed from the year 2002 to 2012.

He has collaborated with numerous bands known in the Bari music scene.

Among these we mention the "Scream for Maiden" (tribute band Iron Maiden) thanks to which he had the pleasure and the honor to share the stage, in 2008, with the Swedish guitarist Kee Marcello (Europe / Easy Action) and with the singer Pino Scotto.

Other important experiences are those matured with the "Alfieri della Gleba" (tribute to the Elio e le Storie Tese), with the "Iconic" (unpublished rock), with which he recorded the debut EP titled "The Past Must End Right Now "and, finally, the musical adventure with the" Red Mosquito "rock band from Bari that existed for about thirteen years, first as a session musician and, later, as an effective member of the band.

Parallel to the latter, he has pursued a fusion project inspired by musicians such as Oz Noy, Guthrie Govan, Jeff Beck, Hiram Bullock, Brett Garsed.

He was an electric guitar teacher at the "Arteinsieme" Cultural Association of Bari in the years 2011 and 2012.

In October 2013 he graduated in Science and Technology for Diagnostics and Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the University of Bari presenting a thesis in Wood Technology.

He moved to Parma as admitted to the first year of the Academic Triennium in Jazz Guitar (ind. Popular Music) at the State Music Conservatory "Arrigo Boito". Course directed by M ° Luca Colombo and which boasts the likes of Paolo Costa, Giovanni Boscariol, Lele Melotti, Rossana Casale, Maurizio Campo, Emilio Ghezzi, Riccardo Moretti.

Course of studies completed in March 2018 with a thesis on "Musical contribution of Rock / Fusion guitarists in the Italian and international Pop panorama", playing, during the graduation session, musical contributions by Guthrie Govan, Frank Gambale, Jay Graydon, Hiram Bullock and Umberto Fiorentino (legend of the Italian Fusion music).

He has participated in numerous master classes dealing with the profession of the turnista / session-man, the effects for electric guitar, the musical language and the techniques of execution with professionals such as Luca Colombo, Giacomo Castellano, Marco Sfogli, Alex Masi, Andrea Braido , Neil Zaza, Carl Verhayen.

He has collaborated with the "Fabio Rota Band" (two singles and a large number of live), with the Parma singer-songwriter Alessandro Nardozza and, currently, with the Dodimatto (group cover 360 °), VivaLIGA! (tribute Luciano Ligabue) and with the Marco & Alice Orchestra (dance music and entertainment).

He composes his own pieces and teaches modern guitar at the "Roberto Goitre" School of Music Association of Parma.

From February to June 2016 he was a trainee in the Gianni Bella Music Factory at its first edition. Event that offered the possibility of having, among the various mentors, the great Sicilian composer flanked by musicians such as Luca Lanza, Helder Stefanini, Paolo Gialdi, Giacomo Manfredi, Marina Parente, Matteo Stocchino, Andrea Accorsi. All supervised by Chiara Bella and all the staff of Edizioni Musicali Nuova Gente.

From November 2012 he is endorser of the Piero Pascale Custom Guitars brand / laboratory and, from March 2015, of the Essetipicks by Steve Tommasi plectrums. In 2017, following the approach with the digital world and the use of Helix, opens a YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/c/StefanoPavone85) dedicated to the use of the prodigious Line6 home machine. At the end of the year he started a collaboration with Live Ready Sound, a rising star in the Impulse Response sector.

In April 2015 he participated, as part of the Complementary Singing course of the Boito Conservatory of Parma directed by Rossana Casale, at the show "Genova per Noi" at the Auditorium del Carmine, Parma.

In June 2016 he took part, together with his colleagues of the Triennio Popular, at the "10 Diamonds from '80" concert, conceived and directed by Maurizio Campo and held at the Summer Arena of the Teatro Regio in Parma.

In the educational field, since December 2016, he collaborates with Michele Lombardi, Francesco Angiuli, Stefano Fonzi and Rocco Zifarelli.
