Info about song

Described by IGN as being a “textbook example of Seattle’s true grunge sound”, “Negative Creep” exemplifies Kurt’s antisocial themes in songs, as this is written from the first person view of himself by his own perception. This is a rather standout track on both Bleach and in Nirvana’s catalog, as it predominantly has the screeching and high-pitched wails of Cobain over the slick, yet rugged, riff coursing throughout the song, complete with the lyrics to puzzle the whole ‘unsung masterpiece’, as some would define it. “Negative Creep”, like other Bleach tracks, was played throughout Nirvana’s concerts well into the abrupt end, though to a lesser extent than others. Most notably, it was featured in the Live! Tonight! Sold Out!!, Live at the Paramount (this version was included on the compilation Live from the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah album), and Live at Reading CD/video releases. Read more on Last.fm.
