A typical lesson is 30 minutes long.

Answer

Sure you can. You can send a direct message to tutors during reservation. You can use this to ask a specific topic to approach during the lesson.

Answer

No, we have a built-in program that is similar to Skype: you only need a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Explorer) to attend your lesson.

Answer

You will receive an email containing a unique link to the session. You can also log into Yalp and go tu Lessons (upper right) to start the lesson window.

Answer

It is better to have remote lessons with an excellent tutor than it is to have in-person lessons with a mediocre one. Yalp gives students more options to choose from when looking for a tutor since they are not restricted to their small local region. You can book a tutor from Italy even if you are in Australia!

Answer

Of course, if it's your first lesson and you are having a bad experience for any reason, we will refund your money. Contact us within two business days of attending the lesson unsuccessfully. To avoid that, we really encourage you to test your set-up before your lesson so you won’t spend lesson time addressing connectivity problems. In case technical problems do arise during a lesson, teachers are typically available to schedule a new one. The goal is to get you connected and learning, but if it's not possible due some technical issues, you will get your money back.
