It was recorded on November 14th 1962 and was destined to be his first single and included on The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan According to legend, Dylan wrote the song in a cab on the way to the Columbia Studios for the recording session. The single was shelved by Dylan. The song was released on Biograph in 1985.
