Pasărea Colibri is a romanian folk band formed in 1992 in Râmnicu Vâlcea, Romania. The disbanded in 2002 and then came to the stage again in 2009 Mircea Baniciu, Mircea Vintilă and Florian Pittiș first sang together on a stage at the end of a winter concert. Surprised of how it came out, they decided to stay together and form the band Pasărea Colibri. They brought along Vlady Cnejevici. Mircea Baniciu, Mircea Vintilă and Florian Pittiș first sang together on a stage at the end of a winter concert. Surprised of how it came out, they decided to stay together and form the band Pasărea Colibri. They brought along Vlady Cnejevici.

1995 - În căutarea cuibului pierdut (Seeking the lost nest) 1996 - Ciripituri (Chirps) 1999 - Cântece de Bivuac (Bivouac songs)
In the year 2000, Florian Pittiș gave up on the band, being replaced by [member from=2000]Marius Bațu, ex-member of Poesis and full time collaborator for the romanian band Holograf.
In 2002 they released the album "Încă 2000 de ani (Another 2000 years)"
In the begining of 2003 [member from=1992 to=2003]Mircea Vintilă decided to focus on his solo career.
Pasărea Colibri currently means Mircea Baniciu, Marius Bațu și Vlady Cnejevici, which continues to sing successfully.
